A crystal clear stream that forever flows,
Blooms heart-fully like a wild Thornberry rose.
Two delicate shimmering pearls on an adamantine
string,
Two symbols entwined on a lapis lazuli ring.
You are the radiant light when the obliterating
blackness falls,
You are the key to doors between mysterious
walls.
You are the rope that saves me when I drown,
You gaze up when I stare down.
One who will travel with me till the end,
One who is a gift that God has sent.
One who is none other than my true friend,
True it is, our friendship can never bend.
A friend is worth more than a valley of gold,
A true friend can neither be brought nor sold.
A special friend is one to treasure,
One who gives you delight and pleasure.
So, my dear friend, I thank you today,
